iCRAC
the coronary emergency app
This application allows direct exchange between emergency physicians and cardiologists in the context of coronary emergencies, and thus reduces treatment times. It ensures immediate, up-to-date, secure and personalized sharing of information (protocols).
Given the importance that these connected objects have taken in our practice and the potential they offer in terms of sharing information within the same community, we have imagined and designed an application called "iCRAC", compatible with Android and iOS, dedicated to interventional cardiology. It integrates a whole series of practical and useful features, some of which aim to improve the management of cardiac emergencies, others aim to help the coronary angiographer in his daily life and to offer him a real "catheter kit".
The main features of the iCRAC application
Live exchanges of text messages or photos for transmission of ECGs, WhatsApp type, between emergency physician and cardiologist
Possibility of geolocation of SAMU when transferring the patient to the coronary angiography room.
Possibilities of putting your protocols onlineSCA departmental, your local guard lists, ...
Information on new developments in interventional cardiology (new studies, new equipment, new regulations, etc.)
Ability to create discussion groups within the messaging system.
The iCRAC application is reserved for healthcare professionals, secured by a login and password, access is only authorized after verification by an administrator of the user's medical or paramedical status (order number or RPPS).
This free application was funded by the Club Régional des Angioplasticiens du Centre (CRAC), developed by the company v-labs and can be used in all regions of France.
With "iCRAC", we will finally have a free customizable smartphone application dedicated to cardiac emergencies and coronary angioplasty. Its purpose is to facilitate the sharing of information between the various stakeholders and to improve the care of our patients. We created it so that it can provide simple and effective solutions to many of the problems encountered in our daily practice and hope that it will eventually become the essential application for any interventional or emergency cardiologist.
