Project summary

CONTEXT

DES with polymer are made up of a tubular metallic skeleton (flexible alloy of metals, the platform), a polymer (biodegradable or durable), on the metallic structure, made up of cells allowing an anti-proliferative active principle to be fixed. Polymer-free DES are active stents made of a porous metal directly covered with an anti-proliferative active ingredient. Polymer-free stents have demonstrated their effectiveness in patients at high risk of bleeding, making it possible to reduce the duration of double antiplatelet aggregation compared to bare metal stents.

GOALS

To study the effect of implantation of an active polymer-free stent on 1-year mortality compared to implantation of an active polymer stent.

METHODOLOGY

Statistical analysis will be performed using the IBM® SPSS Statistics for Windows program (IBM

Corporation, Armonk, NY, USA)
