Project summary

CONTEXT

The prevalence of coronary artery disease in patients with severe aortic stenosis varies between 15% in low-risk patients and 80% in high-risk patients. Data on the need for revascularization of coronary lesions before TAVI are contradictory. Currently, it is recommended to only treat lesions > 70% of the large epicardial trunks before TAVI.

GOALS

To compare, from a real-life registry, the factors influencing the practice of coronary angioplasty and its prognostic impact at 1 year in patients with epicardial coronary lesions > 50% discovered during a preTAVI assessment.

METHODOLOGY

Inclusion: patients having a coronary angiography with the indication: “pre-TAVI assessment” and who have one or more lesions > 50% on arteries > or = 2.5mm in diameter

2 groups: with ATL before TAVI / without ATL before TAVI
