CONTEXT
#1 The incidence of premature coronary heart disease (< 45 years) is increasing in France, compared to other age categories (45-65 years; > 65 years).
#2 The increase in the incidence of premature coronary disease mainly affects women
#3 Patients developing premature coronary artery disease have different CV characteristics & risk factors from other age categories
#4 There was no decline in mortality among patients with premature coronary disease compared to other age groups.
GOALS
Main objective 1: Describe the evolution of the incidence and clinical profile of patients with
premature coronary disease.
Primary endpoint 1: annual incidence rate of premature coronary disease in particular
according to age group and sex and associated cardiovascular risk factors (age, sex, tobacco,
toxic, coronary heredity, hypertension, diabetes, dyslipidemia, obesity, chronic inflammatory disease,
renal failure).
Main objective 2: compare the one-year prognosis of patients with coronary artery disease
according to sex and age groups (< 45 years; 45-65 years; > 65 years).
Primary endpoint 2: all-cause mortality at 1 year.
Secondary objective 1: assess the adequacy of secondary prevention practices for
ESC recommendations, upon discharge from hospitalization.
Secondary endpoint 1: double anti-platelet aggregation, triple therapy
antithrombotic, high-dose statin, ACE inhibitor, beta-blocker.
Secondary objective 2: Evaluate the association between socioeconomic profile and prognosis of
patients with premature coronary disease.
Secondary endpoint 2: socio-economic level according to the FDep (French Deprivation Index,
calculated at the municipal level, for metropolitan France, from census data
of the National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies INSEE).
METHODOLOGY
Interest group:
-3 groups: Age < 45 years vs. 45 – 65 years old vs. > 65 years old
-Man versus woman
Maximum tracking:
-Comparison MACE and mortality according to age category
-Comparison of MACE and mortality according to sex
