Project summary

CONTEXT

The currently recommended duration of dual anti-platelet aggregation (DAPT, (aspirin plus a P2Y12 inhibitor) after coronary angioplasty in the context of chronic coronary syndrome is 6 months. In practice this duration varies considerably depending on the profile risk (ischemic and/or hemorrhagic) of patients (from 1 month to more than 12 months) Few recent data are available on the outcome of patients according to the duration of DAPT in this indication.

GOALS

Evaluate the occurrence of major cardiovascular events according to the duration of DAPT (Less than 6 months vs. 6 months vs. Greater than 6 months) in patients with chronic coronary syndrome; from the France PCI register.

METHODOLOGY

From the France PCI registry, all patients included with coronary angioplasty in a SCC context between 2014 and 2020 will be selected. Ischemic and hemorrhagic events will be evaluated according to the duration of DAPT (<6 months, 6 months, > 6 months).
